The course is aimed at German learners at the level A2/B1 and contains 3 didactic units with 30 texts and approximately 100 exercises. The subject is the diversity of German-Russian relationships in culture, economy, technology, politics, art and intellectual life in the historical context of the 19th and 20th centuries. In the texts it becomes apparent how inspiring and exciting, but also shaped by mutual rejection and disappointments, the history of this frequently conflict ridden neighbour is and how it has developed. Both sides used the other as a projection area for their own ideals and hopes which, due to historical events, often led to a painful amendment. However these relations remain an area of intensive, intellectual exchange, which are kept alive in their own country through concrete meetings, working together and the presence of “the others”. The course is aimed at all learners who are specifically interested in cultural contact to Germany’s eastern neighbour.
Курс ориентирован на изучающих немецкий язык на уровнях А2/В1, он охватывает три дидактические единицы с 30 текстами и примерно 100 упражнениями. В текстах рассматривается многообразие германо-российских отношений в сферах культуры, экономики, техники, политики, искусства и гуманитарных наук в контексте истории 19-го и 20-го веков. Из содержания текстов видно, как увлекательно и вдохновенно, но также и с взаимным отторжением и разочарованием развивалось это зачастую конфликтующее соседство. Каждой стороне «Другой» служил при этом экраном для проецирования собственных идеалов и надежд, которые в результате исторических коллизий часто подвергались болезненным коррективам. Тем не менее, эти отношения оставались сферой интенсивного духовного обмена, жизнь которой поддерживалась конкретными встречами, совместными трудами и присутствием «Других» в своей стране. Курс поэтому обращён к тем, кто имеет детальный интерес к культурным контактам Германии с её восточными соседями.
